The Department of Homeland Security and the General Services Administration on May 24 awarded ECS Federal, LLC, a potential $276.1 million task order to provide a solution that integrates federal and agency dashboards under the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program.
The CDM Dashboard Ecosystem task order has a one-year base period and five one-year options. The task order was awarded under GSA’s Alliant 2 government wide acquisition contract.
The federal and agency dashboards display information from the CDM tools that agencies deploy on their networks, providing enhanced situational awareness of cyber security posture. The CDM program provides a range of cyber security software tools for agencies.
DHS said that under the new contract, ECS Federal will provide it “with an integrated Dashboard solution for continuous monitoring and mitigation of cyber threats and vulnerabilities to the federal .gov environment by expanding and enhancing the current instance of the Federal Dashboard through a suite of integrated hardware and software tools resulting in a ‘CDM Dashboard Ecosystem.’” The department said the dashboard ecosystem will be user-friendly and intuitive for users and “can be utilized to visualize and prioritize risks and vulnerabilities in an Agency’s cybersecurity posture.”
ECS Federal is part of ASGN Inc. [ASGN], which provides information technology and professional services to the technology, digital, engineering, life sciences and government sectors.
