AEVEX Aerospace on Monday said it has acquired IKHANA Aircraft Services and Geodetics Inc. in separate deals that strengthen its capabilities in airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) solutions.

Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

“Each brings unique, world class capabilities that are consistent with our strategic vision to offer our customers the full spectrum of airborne ISR solutions, from systems engineering and technology integration to mission operations and data collection, analysis and dissemination,” Brian Raduenz, AVEX CEO, said in a statement.

AEVEX, which is based in California, provides engineering services and technology for the development, deployment and sustainment of ISR platforms and systems, provides various flight operations services, and provides a full spectrum of intelligence solutions for defense, commercial and government customers.

IKHANA, which is also based in California, provides aircraft engineering, modification, and maintenance solutions working on special mission and commercial aircraft.

Geodetics, also based in California, designs, develops and manufactures positioning, navigation and timing systems for land, air and sea solutions, and mobile mapping solutions for commercial drones.

Senior management of IKHANA and Geodetics will remain with AEVEX.
