The Air Force said Tuesday it awarded United Launch Alliance (ULA) a $938 million contract modification for fiscal year 2015 launch capability.
The cost-plus-incentive-fee contract provides for mission assurance, program management, systems engineering, integration of the space vehicle with the launch vehicle, launch site and range operations and launch infrastructure maintenance and sustainment. $232 million in FY ’14 missile procurement funds will be obligated at the time of award. The contract includes launch capability for both the Delta V and Atlas IV launch vehicles.
ULA is a joint venture of Lockheed Martin [LMT] and Boeing [BA].
