Finmeccanica’s Alenia North America Inc., yesterday said it appointed Alan Calegari as its Chief Executive Officer.
“Alenia North America will continue to grow under the direction of Alan in the CEO position,” said Giuseppe Giordo, CEO, Alenia Aeronautica. “As Alenia’s team continues the work to expand our presence in North America, I am confident he will lead the company in an effective and efficient manner.”
Calegari joins Alenia North America from Ansaldo STS USA, where he served as the president and CEO for four years. He brings with him more than thirty years of experience in leadership positions in the fields of management, security, building automation, automotive, transportation and government to the organization. Overall, the retired Marine aviation officer has served in executive positions with multinational corporations in 13 countries and is fluent in five languages.
