The Army on Thursday awarded Boeing [BA] a $591 million contract modification to acquire 35 AH-64E “Echo” Apache helicopters under the full rate production (FRP) of Lot 5, according to a Defense Department statement.The modification is to fixed-price-incentive contract W58RGZ-14-C-0018. Fiscal year 2015 other procurement funds of $106 million were obligated at the time of award. Work is expected to be completed by July 31, 2015.
