Army Awards General Dynamics $3.7 billion Common Hardware Systems Contract

The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) has awarded a $3.7 billion, five-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity Common Hardware Systems-4 (CHS-4) contract to General Dynamics [GD] C4 Systems (GDC4S), in Taunton, Mass. The contract, awarded Aug. 25, will keep the Army in front of procurement requirements for essential hardware and information technology services of the future.
