Army Seeks Quotes on RF Technology to Detect, Locate IEDs

The Army Materiel Command has issued a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for prototype, technically mature, radio frequency (RF) technology to participate in an experiment in a mission-relevant environment related to a requirement to detect and locate improvised explosive device (IED) threats. The RF technology must be either capable of performing on the move--at least 8 mph--or have size, weight and power that are consistent with a handheld unit.
