Army Seeks Vehicle Arresting Device in Support of JIEDDO

The Army's Joint Munitions and Lethality Contracting Center has issued a pre-solicitation for a Vehicle Arresting Device (VAD) test services in support of the Joint Improvised Explosives Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) Large Vehicle Borne IED Program. The base effort is a test procedure that will examine the capabilities and limitations of a VAD called the Tire Rapid Entanglement Arresting Device.
