After rescinding earlier this year an initial $9.1 million for MobileSearch HE (High Energy) cargo and vehicle inspection systems, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has awarded American Science and Engineering [ASEI] an $11.8 million contract for multiple MobileSearch HE systems. After rescinding the original order, CBP issued a reevaluation notice of proposals and increased the value of AS&E's award.
