ASGN Inc. [ASGN] last Friday said it has acquired IndraSoft Inc. in a deal that expands its work with defense customers.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. IndraSoft, which is based Northern Virginia, has more than 220 employees. IndraSoft will be integrated into ASGN’s ECS Mission Solutions business.

IndraSoft’s customers include the Air Force, Army intelligence, the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), the Marine Corps, and other defense clients such as U.S. Transportation Command and the Defense Logistics Agency. The company’s federal civilian agency customers include the Departments of Justice, Transportation, State and Commerce.

“The acquisition of IndraSoft deepens our footprint at key customers, including the U.S. Air Force, Army intelligence, DISA, and other defense agencies,” George Wilson, president of ECS, said in a statement.

IndraSoft has expertise in digital transformation, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, cyber analytics and health information technology.

“The acquisition of IndraSoft is yet another example of our long-term capital deployment strategy to acquire high-growth consulting businesses that position ASGN as an industry-leading provider of IT services and solutions to the commercial and government market places,” Ted Hanson, president and CEO of ASGN, said in a statement. “IndraSoft’s depth and breadth of technical capabilities, talent, and solutions align perfectly with our Federal Government Segment and ECS’ digital modernization expertise.”
