Aware Supplies Biometrics Software for NGI Advanced Technology Workstations

Aware, Inc. [AWRE] says it has supplied the biometrics software for Lockheed Martin's [LMT] Advanced Technology Workstations that are being used as part of the FBI's Next Generation Identification (NGI) system. The workstations include several Aware software products including NISTPack , WSQ1000, AccuPrint and AccuScan. "Aware's partnership with Lockheed Martin goes back to the earliest days of automated biometric identification, when we collaborated to enable advanced fingerprint capture and quality assurance," says Rob Mungovan, vice president at Aware.
