BAE To Design Radio System For DDGs 113 and 114

BAE Systems has been selected by the Navy to design and install onboard radio communication and network capability for two new ships in the Navy’s class of Arleigh Burke (DDG-51) destroyers. The $37 million contract covers engineering, production integration, logistics, crew training and configuration management for the DDG-113 and DDG-114. The equipment will include multi-spectrum radio sets, antenna systems and baseband switching, as well as data-link modems and message distribution services.
