Bell-Boeing Nabs $1.6 Billion Osprey Logistics Contract

The Navy awarded the Bell [TXT]-Boeing [BA] Joint Program Office a $1.6 billion logistics requirements contract on Jan. 6 that covers the repair, replacement, required availability, configuration management, and inventory management for supply support for Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force V-22 aircraft components. The contract has a five-year base period with no options and covers the logistics works for 228 total aircraft. The Marine Corps uses the MV-22B variant, the Navy the CMV-22, and the Air Force  the CV-22.…
