Bell Helicopter-Textron [TXT] announced Jan. 25 it completed the first fully customized aircraft from the new European state-of-the-art Customization and Delivery Center in Prague, Czech Republic.
The first helicopter delivered from the center went to Air Transport Europe of Slovakia, which recently accepted three newly customized Bell 429 EMS configured aircraft at the company’s delivery center in Prague.
The Prague facility is Bell’s official regional customization, delivery, and aftermarket service center in Europe. The paint facility in Prague is “state-of-the-art” the new paint booth’s size is designed to enable paint operations for all Bell Helicopter commercial products, the company said. Bell Helicopter also improved the paint process by integrating requirements for safety of operatios, ease of maintenance, energy sustainability, environmental, and ergonomics.
“We now have the ability to provide full customization, including maintenance, repair and overhaul capabilities – offering a bespoke delivery experience for all of our European customers,” Joachim Goldenberg, general manager, Bell Helicopter in Prague, said in a statement.
“Europe remains a key market for us to continue to grow and develop our balanced business. Establishing the Bell Helicopter facility in Prague lends to our anticipation of further market growth in addition to the introduction of the new Bell 505 and Bell 525,” Jakub Hoda, regional director for Europe and Russia, added,
