Bell Helicopter Textron [TXT] opened a new paint facility and delivery center at its Prague, Czech Republic location, the company said May 12.
With the new facility, the company’s Prague location provides full maintenance, repair, and overhaul capabilities. It is Bell Helicopter’s official regional customization, delivery, and aftermarket service center in Europe.
“Bell Helicopter’s continued investment in the region reinforces our commitment to our European customers to provide an in-region facility that offers the industry-leading service and support we are known for worldwide,” Glenn Isbell, executive vice president of customer support and services for Bell Helicopter, said in a statement.
“We are excited that that we have added full paint and delivery capabilities, with the installation of two brand new paint booths and a new delivery center on-site,” Joachim Goldenberg, general manager for Bell Helicopter in Prague, added.
The company highlighted the new paint facility has a design that accounts for minimum space area utilization and is state-of-the-art. It enables paint operations for all Bell commercial products, including legacy products to those in development.
