Boeing [BA] last week said it has completed its purchase of the cybersecurity firm Narus, which provides real-time network traffic and analytics software.

Narus, which will report to Boeing’s Network and Space Systems business, has a global presence in cybersecurity, with about half of its 150 employees in India. Narus is based in California.

Some of Narus’ key customers include major wire line and wireless telecommunications companies worldwide. Boeing also uses Narus products. The acquisition gives Boeing a play in the Dot.Com domain for cyber security to go along with what it does serving the military and intelligence communities.
