Boeing [BA] yesterday said it has completed its acquisition of Digital Receiver Technology, Inc. (DRT) as part of the company’s strategy to expand its presence in the intelligence market.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Maryland-based DRT has about 370 employees and will operate within Boeing Integrated Defense Systems’ Network & Space Systems unit.
DRT develops and manufactures digital signal processing products such as wireless receivers and transceivers that are used for surveillance and tracking equipment for customers in the intelligence community, the Defense Department and the Department of Homeland Security.
