Boeing [BA] yesterday said it has completed its acquisition of Tapestry Solutions, giving it new capabilities in real-time logistics visibility and logistics modeling and simulation. The acquisition is part of Boeing's strategy to expand in the supply chain and logistics command and control markets. The Tapestry deal was announced in September. Last month Boeing said it had agreed to acquire Federated Software Group, an engineering and software services firm that helps the Defense Department track and distribute equipment and personnel.…
