Boeing’s Losses Widen In Second Quarter On Defense Charges, Commercial Woes

A series of additional charges on four programs in Boeing’s [BA] defense group combined with further losses in the commercial segment led to wider earnings losses in the second quarter and sales also tumbled, the company reported on Wednesday.
