Bridge Core Federal last Friday said it has acquired teKnoluxion, a federal consulting firm specializing in software and systems engineering, cloud services, and data analytics solutions for the defense and intelligence communities, building on the company’s recent acquisition of GeoYeti to strengthen its focus on the national security space.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Bridge Core is a platform company of the private equity firm NewSpring Holdings

.

TeKnoluxion’s customers include General Dynamics [GD] Information Technology, Leidos [LDOS], ManTech, and Maximus Federal and supports work in the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), National Reconnaissance Office, and Defense Department.

Bridge Core said that adding teKnoluxion improves its approach to analysis, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps to meet the evolving needs of the intelligence community.

Bridge Core, which is based in Northern Virginia, also said it has added Sue Gordon and retired Navy Vice Adm. Robert Sharp to its board of directors, and named Andy Maner as executive chairman. Gordon is a former principal deputy director of national intelligence and deputy director of NGA, and Sharp retired from the Navy in 2022 with his last assignment being director of NGA. Maner is the former chairman and CEO of the federal services company Avantus Federal, which is now part of QinetiQ US.

The Chertoff Group’s capital unit served as financial advisor to teKnoluxion on the deal.
