The General Services Administration, through a requirement from the U.S. Air Forces Central, plans to award a sole-source contract for four Z Backscatter Van Military Trailers to American Science & Engineering [ASEI]. No date was given for when the award is expected.
The Transportation Security Administration plans to award a contract to Morpho Detection, Inc. for maintenance services for over 2,000 Itemiser DX explosive trace detectors deployed at airports in the U.S. and its territories. The value of the pending award was not disclosed.
Implant Sciences Corp. [IMSC] has received additional orders for its Quantum Sniffer QS-H150 portable explosives trace detection units to be deployed at two more nuclear power plants in Japan. “Our in-country distributor in Japan has been effective in translating the high level of satisfaction from our installed base of customers into new sales to private and public organizations in Japan,” says Glenn Bolduc, president and CEO of Implant.
