Rocky Mountain Scientific Laboratory has received a potential $50 million indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract from the FBI to provide chemical characterization of improvised explosives. The award has a one-year base period and four one-year options.

L-3 Communications [LLL] has received an $818,147 task order for long lead ancillary equipment to be used as safety stock for unforeseen requirements under and existing contract for the purchase and installation of eXaminer series explosives detection systems.

Hypori Federal, Inc. has received a $750,000 Small Business Innovation Research Phase II Other Agencies Technology Solutions contract from the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology branch to further develop capabilities in Virtual Mobile Infrastructure (VMI) technology to improve security for government mobility enterprise systems. Hypori will focus on enhancing the capabilities of its VMI technology by developing new mobile access control functionality for Bluetooth, creating higher-level authentication methodology and building a mobile cloud-based solution with compliance in mind with FedRAMP.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has awarded Spear Inc. a $583,507 contract for Splunk Enterprise and Enterprise Security licenses and software support. Splunk’s products provide customers with a software platform for operational intelligence on the IT networks.

Intellicheck Mobilisa [IDN] has received a $250,000 government contract to expand the deployment of its Defense ID secure access control solution at a classified federal facility in the Washington, D.C. area. The company says that security personnel use the handheld Defense ID to instantly authenticate the identification of visitors, vendors and employees seeking site access and by enabling rules-based access decision support.
