The Department of Homeland Security is extending its FirstSource II indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract vehicle until the end of 2022 while it continues to evaluate proposals for the FirstSource III procurement. Under FirstSource II, DHS acquires commercially available information technology commodities, solutions and value-added reseller services from small business to support the department’s agencies and components.

CEIA USA has received a $5.4 million contract from the Department of Homeland Security for walk-through metal detectors.

Symetrica says it has received its first delivery order for VeriFinder Radioisotope Identification Devices under a $35 million multi-year Defense Department contract awarded in 2021. The company says it is ramping up production for deliveries this year.
