DroneShield has delivered portable and handheld counter-unmanned aircraft system solutions under a follow-on order by a U.S. government agency. The customer wasn’t disclosed. Customs and Border Protection plans to award StarChase a $249,999 contract to provide Vehicle Mounted Launcher systems to be used in an operational field evaluation. StarChase’s VML fires a GPS tracking tag onto a suspect’s vehicle, communicating positional data to its mapping platform in real-time. The tag includes an industrial adhesive to stick to the vehicle.
