CBP Issues RFP for Mobile X-Ray Inspection Vans
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for mobile X-Ray inspection vans under its Non-Intrusive Inspection program. The agency plans to establish a five-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with up to three vendors. DNDO Interested in RPM Replay Tool and Response
The Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) is seeking information on the current capabilities that are available from Radiation Portal Monitor (RPM) vendors that enable evaluation of the system’s performance via replay analysis. The request for information is based on capabilities the agency expects being incorporated into future RPM procurement solicitations. This ability allows evaluation of alternative parameter setting scenarios using existing system data, or synthetic data generated through modeling. Cyber Command Seeks Mission Support Services
The General Services Administration Federal Systems Integration and Management Center on behalf of U.S. Cyber Command has issued a Sources Sought Notice seeking mission support services, including from small businesses. DHS Seeks Sources for Software Maintenance of IQ/ECT
The Department of Homeland Security has issued a Sources Sought Notice to provide continued software maintenance update for 820 users of the IQ software for the Office of the Chief Information Officer, Enterprise System Development Office that is used for the Enterprise Correspondence Tracking (ECT) system that the department uses to improve its business processes. The IQ software allows DHS headquarters and components to track, monitor, manage and respond to time sensitive correspondence received by public and private agencies, state and local governments, congressman, senators and other in a coordinate, agile and timely manner. DHS Soliciting for Proposals for Standoff Explosives Detection on Vehicles
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology branch has issued a Broad Agency Announcement related to Standoff Explosives Detection on Vehicles. The agency says that the standoff detection of explosives “remains an important, yet elusive, capability requirement for DHS components as well as many agencies in the Department of Defense.” The BAA addresses the advancement of standoff detection techniques for explosive residues on external vehicle surfaces. The BAA is for a three-state program consisting of advanced feasibility demonstration and preliminary design review, eye safety validation and critical design review, and prototype completion and test readiness review. TSA Issues Draft Requirement for Illicit Drug Handheld ETD
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has issued a Request for Information with a draft requirement for a handheld explosive trace detection (ETD) system to be used primarily for the screening for illicit drugs, with a secondary capability to allow screening for explosives. The system must be able to be carried on a person for an entire eight-hour shift and function on battery power. TSA Releases RFP for Candidate, Employee Assessment System
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Catalog of Assessments and Testing System (CATS) that will be used by the agency to evaluate candidates and incumbents within a variety of positions, including Transportation Security Officers (TSOs), Screening Partnership Program screeners, Federal Air Marshals, management, administrative and professional positions, and executive positions.
