CACI International [CACI] on Monday evening said it has agreed to acquire Paradigm Holdings, Inc. [PDHO], a small provider of cyber security and forensics, and enterprise information technology (IT) solutions to federal civilian agencies, DoD and the intelligence community.
The pending acquisition, which is expected to close this fall, follows another by CACI last month in the IT security space (Defense Daily, June 21). Terms of the deal for Paradigm were not disclosed.
Paradigm, which is based in Maryland, had $35 million in sales last year and $792,010 in losses. CACI said Paradigm is expected to have $55 million in sales this year and that the deal is expected to be accretive to its earnings during the first year.
“The acquisition of Paradigm will increase CACI’s capability to meet our customers’ urgent requirements for secure critical infrastructure and safe, reliable operations across their enterprises,” Paul Cofoni, president and CEO of CACI, said in a statement.
Paradigm’s key clients include the Federal Aviation Administration, the Defense Information Systems Agency, and the Departments of State, Energy and Treasury. The company has about 185 employees with security clearances.
Paradigm’s President and CEO Peter LaMontagne will remain with the company.
