CACI International [CAI] yesterday said it has agreed to acquire TechniGraphics Inc., a 450-person company specializing in imager and geospatial services to the intelligence community and other customers.
Terms of the deal, which is expected to close on Nov. 1, were not disclosed.
TechniGraphics, which is based in Ohio, is expected to have $46 million in sales this year. CACI said the deal would be “solidly accretive” to earnings during its first year.
The pending acquisition fits with CACI’s strategy to grow in the intelligence space, in this case adding geospatial services to its core competencies.
“Acquisition of TechniGraphics makes CACI a prominent provider of geospatial data for the intelligence community and those it serves,” Paul Cofoni, CACI’s president and CEO, said in a statement. “This move into a core intelligence mission area affirms our commitment to providing and building world class intelligence solutions for our government customer base.”
TechniGraphics’ other customers include the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security, allied governments, state and local governments, and other companies. About 85 percent of its workforce has security clearances.
