CBP Seeks UAS Vendor Training Program

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a Request for Information to identify Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) vendor training programs that meet the CBP Office of Air and Marine's potential requirements. The primary purpose of the training program is to establish and maintain flying proficiency for UAS pilots and sensor operators as the agency increased the number of General Atomics-built MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aircraft patrolling the nation's borders and maritime avenues of approach.
