3D Systems Corp., Rock Hill, South Carolina, was awarded a $10,758,261 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Large-format Metal 3D Printer Advanced Technology Demonstrator (GEN-II DMP-1000). This contract supports the development of large-scale hypersonic relevant additive manufacturing print capabilities. Work will be performed at Rock Hill, South Carolina; and San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 29, 2025. This contract was a competitive acquisition and one offer was received. Fiscal 2022 and 2023 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $10,758,261 are being obligated at time of award.
