BAE Systems – San Diego Ship Repair, San Diego, California, is awarded an $125,517,541 firm-fixed-price contract for the execution of the USS Essex (LHD 2) fiscal 2022 docking selected restricted availability. This availability will include a combination of maintenance, modernization and repair of the USS Essex (LHD 2). This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $148,226,878. Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by October 2023.
