Design West Technologies, Inc., * Tustin, California, is awarded a $15,949,902 firm-fixed-price contract for the manufacture, assembly, test and delivery of the Motor Control Panel and associated components in support of the MK-41 Vertical Launch System. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $132,386,790. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (95.11%) and the governments of Australia (1.77%), Germany (0.83%), Spain (0.81%), Finland (0.76%) and Korea (0.72%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. Work will be performed in Tustin, California, and is expected to be completed by September 2023. If all options are exercised, work will continue through September 2027.
