Frequency Electronics Inc.,* Uniondale, New York, is awarded a $20,263,099 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the Mercury Ion Atomic Clock. This contract provides for a compact mercury ion clock for use as a next-generation Department of Defense atomic clock, which is currently under development at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
