Methuen Construction, Plaistow, New Hampshire, is awarded $12,209,397 for a firm-fixed-price modification to contract N40085-21-C-005. This modification provides for the exercise of Option 12 under a contract for construction of the Dry Dock 2 complex located at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. This option will provide for a 120-day award of all work in connection with the Enclosure 6 modifications and the fit up test in dock. The work for the requested option is for all work associated with the Shipside Complex (RAE and RAE-SP) Volume 3 of the plan set, including Enclosure 5 and 7, the fit up test, and the support towers. After award of these options, the total cumulative contract value will be $74,850,697. Work will be performed in Kittery, Maine, and is expected to be completed by October 2023.
