North Star Scientific Corp.,* Kapolei, Hawaii, is awarded a $14,389,417 firm-fixed-price order (N6833522F0001) against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N6833519G0037). This order provides for the production and delivery of 41 high power amplifier (HPA) units: six HPA units for System Configuration Set-11 E-2C aircraft; nine HPA units for E-2D crypto modernization and frequency remapping aircraft retrofits; 11 spare HPA units; and 15 HPA units for the government of Australia. Additionally, this order provides for the production and delivery of 19 HPA units and vibration isolating tray assemblies with integral air plenums: 14 that are Multi-functional Information Distribution System – Joint Tactical Radio System (MIDS-JTRS) compatible, and five that are MIDS-JTRS Link-16 compatible. As well, as provides engineering and engineering data support for HPA units kitting, installation, and testing. Work will be performed in Kapolei, Hawaii (74%); and Carlsbad, California (26%), and is expected to be completed in July 2024. Fiscal 2022 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $3,139,417; fiscal 2021 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $6,250,000; and Foreign Military Sales funds in the amount of $5,000,000 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
