Raytheon Technologies Corp., doing business as Pratt and Whitney Military Engines, East Hartford, Connecticut, is awarded a $305,612,870 fixed-price incentive (firm-target), cost-plus-incentive-fee advanced acquisition contract. This contract procures long-lead time materials for the low-rate initial production Lot 18 F135 propulsion systems for the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter aircraft in support of the Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers, and non-U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) participants. Work will be performed in East Hartford, Connecticut (11.2%) (labor surplus area); Indianapolis, Indiana (6.6%); Middletown, Connecticut (5.3%); Kent, Washington (4.6%); North Berwick, Maine (2.6%); El Cajon, California (2%) (labor surplus area); Cromwell, Connecticut (2%); Whitehall, Michigan (2%) Portland, Oregon (1.3%); San Diego, California (1.3%); South Bend, Indiana (1.3%); various locations within the continental U.S. (3.5%); and various locations outside the continental U.S. (56%), and is expected to be completed in July 2026. Fiscal 2023 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $63,758,655; fiscal 2023 aircraft procurement (Air Force) funds in the amount of $39,297,196; FMS customer funds in the amount of $177,065,642; and non-U.S. DOD participant funds in the amount of $25,491,377, will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
