Sauer Construction LLC, Jacksonville, Florida, is awarded a $7,909,000 firm-fixed-price task order (N6945022F0528) under a multiple award construction contract (N69450-21-D-0061) for the renovation of Building 2314 at the Nuclear Power Training Unit, Naval Weapons Station, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. The work to be performed provides for the relocation of interior walls and associated mechanical, electrical and existing fire protection and fire alarm systems in the Training Support Building. The contract also contains five unexercised options which, if exercised, would increase the cumulative contract value to $17,797,684. Work will be performed in Goose Creek, South Carolina, and is expected to be completed by January 2024.
