Contract Award: Sierra Nevada Corp. (Sparks, Nevada) – $9,683,072

Sierra Nevada Corp., Sparks, Nevada, has been awarded a $9,683,072 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and cost-reimbursement-no-fee order (FA8509-22-F-0018) against the previously awarded contract FA8509-19-D-0001 for the Interim Link-16 Capability for HC-130J (T-1) modification.  This order provides for the integration of a temporary Line of Sight Data Link-16 capability on HC-130J aircraft using portions of the Airborne Mission Networking.  Work will be performed in Centennial, Colorado; Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona; Moody AFB, Georgia; Patrick Space Force Base, Florida; and Moffett Field, California, and is expected to be completed by Oct. 15, 2023. Fiscal 2020 procurement funds in the amount of $9,683,072 are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity.
