The Boeing Co., Huntington Beach, California, is awarded a $16,848,306 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for design agent and technical engineering services for the AN/USQ-82(V) family of systems consisting of the Data Multiplex System (DMS), Fiber Optic Data Multiplex System (FODMS), and Gigabit Ethernet Data Multiplex System (GEDMS). This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value to $99,995,070. This contract involves Foreign Military Sales to Japan, Korea, Australia, and Canada. Work will be performed in Huntington Beach, California (67%); Arlington, Virginia (14%); remote Navy and foreign military shipyards and labs (14%); Annapolis Junction, Maryland (3%); Colorado Springs, Colorado (1%); and Tukwila, Washington (1%). If all options are exercised, work will continue through May 2028. Fiscal 2023 shipbuilding, new construction (Navy) funds in the amount of $8,727,835 (52%); fiscal 2023 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $5,223,244 (31%); fiscal 2023 operations and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $1,446,527 (8%); research, development, technology and evaluation funds in the amount of $800,000 (5%); and Foreign Military Sales funds in the amount of $650,700 (4%) will be obligated at time of award, of which $1,446,219 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
