TLI Construction Inc., Riverside, California, was awarded a $70,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price contract for paving requirements. This contract provides for earthwork, soil sampling and testing, removal and disposal of soil, prime coat, tack coat and paint binder, asphalt concrete, slurry seal coating, construction seal and rejuvenating agent, fog seal, asphalt and concrete curbs, airfield Portland cement concrete including runways, taxiways, pads, and aprons, penetrative oil and dust palliative treatment, road shoulder maintenance, ditch construction, street, road, airfield, and parking lot striping and marking, demolition of curb, gutters, sidewalks, and roadway and airfield pavements, surveys, handicap ramps, fences and gates, lighting standards, guardrails, and other incidental related work at Edwards Air Force Base, California. Work will be performed at Edwards AFB, California, including the Air Force Research Laboratory, Air Force Plant 42, Palmdale, California, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 26, 2028. This contract was a competitive acquisition and five offers were received. Fiscal 2023 operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $327,955 are being obligated at time of award.
