US Medical Glove Co. LLC., Lexington, Kentucky, has been awarded a $63,612,247 contract action for capacity expansion to increase continental U.S. production of 24 new production lines with the ability to produce 192.8 million gloves per month. The procurement is for the Department of Health and Human Services in care of the Defense Assisted Acquisition team. This contract is for the ability to expand domestic capacity to produce non-sterile, powder-free, patient examination gloves, the associated raw materials and/or equipment to produce gloves. Work will be performed in Fort Knox, Kentucky, and is expected to be completed May 27, 2023. Fiscal 2021 other procurement funds in the full amount are being obligated at the time of award.
