WSM Pacific SIOP JV, Honolulu, Hawaii, is awarded $49,298,472 for a firm-fixed-price modification to a previously issued task order N4425522F4035 placed against basic contract N62742-21-D-0001. This modification provides architect-engineer design services for a multi-mission dry dock at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Washington. This contract is part of the Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization Program, which is a holistic plan that integrates all infrastructure and industrial plant equipment investments at the Navy’s four public shipyards to meet nuclear fleet maintenance requirements. Work will be performed in Bremerton, Washington, and is expected to be completed by September 2023. Fiscal 2022 military construction – planning and design (Navy) (MILCON P&D, N) funds in the amount of $9,856,857; and fiscal 2023 MILCON P&D, N funds in the amount of $39,441,615 will be obligated at time of award, and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
