The managed information technology (IT) and private cloud services company Coretelligent is partnering with Cylance Inc. to expand cyber threat detection and prevention offerings, the companies said Wednesday.
This partnership will expand Coretelligent’s security offerings to include cyberattack prevention capabilities, notably by providing customers access to CylancePROTECT. This product is an antivirus product for enterprise endpoints that uses artificial intelligence to detect and block cyber threats in real time, Coretelligent said.
“With security teams in need of genuine solutions to security challenges, it’s a great time for Cylance and Coretelligent to team up,” Didi Dayton, vice president of worldwide channels at Cylance, said in a statement.
“While much of the security industry has given up on prevention, our two companies understand that prevention is not only possible—it has proven both effective and efficient in ways that protect organizations and allow security teams to focus on strategic issues,” she added.
“We’re pleased to partner with Cylance and offer CylancePROTECT to our customers. The preventative security solution is extremely effective in detecting and blocking emerging threats, and far less resource intensive than other solutions. It’s a natural fit to our growing suite of security offerings,” Chris Messer, senior vice president of technology at Coretelligent, said in a statement.
