Croatia To Use Camcopter S-100 for Coast Guard Functions

Beginning this summer, Croatia’s maritime safety directorate will deploy an unmanned Schiebel Camcopter S-100 for Coast Guard functions, according to a mobilization request the country sent to the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA). The unmanned, remotely-piloted S-100 rotorcraft will assist the government of Croatia with activities including search and rescue, monitoring and surveillance, ship and port security, vessel traffic, environmental protection and response, ship casualty assistance and accident and disaster response.
