Cross Match Introduces Palm and Fingerprint Scanner

Cross Match Technologies has introduced the L SCAN 1000PX, a compact, high-resolution 1000 ppi fingerprint and palm print scanner for booking criminal suspects into police identification systems. The new system features rapid capture, real-time preview, high image resolution and unique ergonomics, Cross Match says. Cross Match attributes the fast image capture and high resolution to its Extreme Definition (XD) technology, which is a combination of new, proprietary image sensor and image processing technology.
