Computer Sciences Corp. [CSC] has signed an agreement with the Defense Department to cooperate regarding cyber security and related threats. The agreement makes CSC the first information technology enterprise company invited to join the Defense Industrial Base Program. DoD and other DIB program members will use lessons learned to improve risk management of critical network infrastructures. Members of the program will share information about activities they are noticing on private networks as well as best practices, a CSC spokeswoman tells TR2. The DIB also includes large defense contractors such as Boeing [BA], Lockheed Martin [LMT] and Northrop Grumman [NOC].
