CSC [CSC] claimed the top spot in FY ’12 for the value of prime contracts awarded by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on the strength of its information technology and services work for the department.
Support for the Office of Procurement Operations (OPO) accounted for the largest chunk of CSC’s work with DHS, $258 million, followed by work for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), $167 million, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, $154 million. The work was part of $670.2 million in contracts the company received from the department.
In FY ’11 CSC was the second largest recipient of DHS contracts with $505.8 million (HSR, Feb. 15, 2012).
