CSRA, Inc. [CSRA] announced Thursday that it has added Amazon Web Services (AWS) to the General Services Administration (GSA) IT Schedule 7- under the Cloud Computing Services Special Item Number (SIN) 132-40.
The GSA IT Schedule 70 is the largest acquisition vehicle across the federal government. Through the vehicle customers can identify cloud service providers to procure cloud products and services, giving agencies centralized access to cloud computing.
The company’s agreement to resell AWS on Schedule 70 includes AWS commercial and AWS GovCloud services that deliver additional levels of regulatory compliance. CSRA is an AWS Partner Network (APN) Premier Consulting Partner with AWS Government Competency and AWS GovCloud Skills Through this vehicle, government clients can purchase AWS services from CSRA in addition to CSRA cloud services related to strategy, migration, and managed services, the company said.
“Reselling Amazon Web Services’ offerings affirms our commitment to our customers in providing next generation IT solutions and expands our strategic relationship with AWS. CSRA now has the ability to meet the full spectrum of cloud needs through Schedule 70 – from infrastructure to implementation,” Yogesh Khanna, CSRA chief technology officer (CTO), said in a statement.
“Today’s announcement further enables agencies to access the breadth and depth of the AWS Cloud; allowing agencies to focus on mission-critical objectives, not infrastructure,” Troy Bertram, general manager for business development at AWS Worldwide Public Sector, added.
