The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate has issued a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) entitled Viral Genetic Stability in a Forensics Context. The BAA seeks research in the discipline of viral population genetics in the National Bioforensics Analysis Center's (NBFAC) mission for evidentiary analysis and interpretation of results to support the FBI's criminal investigation of terrorist acts.
