The Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate has issued its Long Range Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for calendar year 2009 seeking proposals on a wide range of topics, including explosives countermeasures, chemical and biological analyses and countermeasures, border and maritime security, command, control and interoperability, human factors and behavior sciences, and infrastructure and geophysical.
