The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate has issued a Request for Information for research services needed to gain a greater understanding of any given technology, scientific area, branch of science, high technology, emerging technology, process, procedure or industry for gaining all practically- obtainable knowledge related to fielding capabilities for the Homeland Security Enterprise (HSE). S&T says that the information it obtains through the research will play a vital role in deploying new capabilities. The information can contribute to evaluating the significance of beginning new projects, considering potential partnership opportunities for technology, product and system development, conducting analyses of alternatives and other selective activities that can streamline and improve S&T’s portfolio.
